Astro-commentary, Saturn Return survival tips, and meandering miscellany from the Saturn Sisters, authors of SURVIVING SATURN'S RETURN
"Antiquated, crippling concepts devised in the past are blocking women from reaching spiritual heights. Those are the shadows that still haunt women, evoking fear and distrust within. Women should let go of their fear and distrust, they are simply illusions. The limitations women think they have are not real. Women need to muster the strength to overcome those imagined limitations. They already possess this power; it is right here! And once that power has been evoked, no one will be able to stop the forward march of women in every area of life."
Mata Amritanandamayi, from Immortal Bliss
We were inspired to write our book for many reasons. One of the most influential was that of Mata Amritanandamayi, known to the world as Ammachi, the wise and beautiful mother of all that hails from Kerala, India. Amma is known as the "hugging saint" and has been gaining much media attention in the last few years. She addressed the Millennium United Nations Peace Summit in 2000 and is an ardent advocate for the rights of women throughout the world. Surviving Saturn's Return is dedicated to her. She is a vessel of unrivaled compassion and love without boundaries. The above quote appears in the introduction to the book and is excerpted from Immortal Bliss, the magazine published by Amma's ashram in Kerala.
