Take the Saturn/Pluto Square Into Your Own Hands in 2010

In the waning months of 2009 we witnessed some of the consequences of the current Saturn/Pluto square. From Fort Hood to the thwarted Christmas attack on Flight 253 to events in Pakistan and Afghanistan, we've been watching a 24/7 fear show in the last few weeks and months. And right-wing politicians are stoking the fire of our fear for selfish gain. It's not a surprise, of course -- we just weren't sure exactly how it would all unfold. As the Saturn/Pluto square again picks up momentum, we are watching and waiting for what will happen in January. Many astrologers think that the events may be economic -- so many of us are still unemployed, and others are losing their homes. But what if we decided to stand up and take our power back from the politicians and the planets that are spinning all of us into chaos and terror?

Huffington Post recently started a movement on their site called "Move Your Money: A New Year's Resolution". Because Pluto in Capricorn is in the process of transforming the USA's very understanding of the meaning of money, materialism, and values, this is the perfect time to push that change in the right direction. The big banks that have been the beneficiaries of the economic collapse no longer deserve our business. What if we could flip the script, and make the coming months and years not about fear, but about hope? You can change your consciousness, but Saturn insists that you back this up with action. There is no more concrete action than going to your local corporate bank and saying, " buh-bye." Now that's a resolution you can live up to.
