Will Saturn Give Michael Vick a Second Chance?

With Virgo's rulership of domestic animals, it's interesting to see the return of Michael Vick to the news in the week after Saturn turned direct. Even more interesting is Vick's chart -- with Saturn at 21 degrees of Virgo. His Saturn return was exact last winter and will be again in August. Often people born with Saturn in Virgo have a special compassion for animals, but that was clearly not the case here. Saturn gives second chances only to those that have truly done their inner work. If Vick really does feel honest remorse for the horrible things he did, should he get that second chance? Could he become a major voice against animal abuse?

At the same time, far less publicized has been the arrest, indictment and conviction of members of the SHAC 7 -- a group of animal rights activists who have spent some of the Saturn in Virgo years in jail because of their compassion for animals. In their attempt to bring to light the horrible injustice and cruelty of a corporation called Huntington Life Sciences, they've endured trials during which they were maligned as terrorists.
